So the big problem I had approaching this piece is that Jake Wyatt’s Kitty Pryde is pretty much my definitive version of young kitty.

So instead I decided to go with Headmistress Katherine Pryde. Which provided its own problems, trying to find a blend with professional, fashionable, yet still practical in its own way.

Done as a request for BabyCricket! she had recently read Whedon’s Astonishing X-men run and has become a huge fan of Kitty
